On Saturday 8th of June it's time for the Burton Jibfest 2013 hosted by Snowworld Zoetermeer. Benelux' Burton teamrider Luc Büthker is the mastermind behind the event. Collaborating with Gerben Verweij (GV Constructions), who initially came up with the first JibFest back in 2008, they will create a custom park in Snowworld.

Luc: " The park  will have a unique combination of obstacles, inspiring riders to be creative as well as allowing them to throw some bangers! Together with Gerben's input we came up with a very nice set-up "

To make it even better, Burton will throw in 2000 euro cash prize money and goodies for all the jibbers who make it to the finals. All levels of snowboarding are encouraged: the event will host the categories Men sponsored, Women, Kids and Grommets (till 16 years). Burton International rider Seppe Smits also will be attending the event to check out the level of next generation's shredders.

The Burton Jibfest  will start at 12AM on June 8th, price ceremony starts around 9.30PM. Perfect setting for a weekend indoor shredding in the lowlands! See ya there.
