Off to Hintertux we went for the Hotzone.TV Park Opening to start off the season proper. When we got there the weather was fucking freezing cold and it felt like the middle of the season instead of the beginning. We will say this though, the low temperatures and the heavy jackets put everybody in the mood to shred!

The first freshly-shaped kickers of the season were ready to go thanks to the Better Park crew. Plenty of fresh beers were poured throughout the day to match those fresh booters. In between drinks you could witness several pro dudes like Werni Stock, Florian Galler, Rudi Janda, Marc Swoboda presen ting their awesome and spectacular flights and trickeria over the Röhre.

Of course there was a lot of partying going on, starting on the glacier where several brands like Smith, Burton, Billabong, K2, Rythm (new super funky fashion from Australia- only for men) and others presented their new gear and gave people the chance to demo it all for free. Beer and glühwein were flowing all the way down to the valley station, where more dudes were practicing their twirly birds at the Gloryfy bag jump and trying to POP! the biggest ollies at the K2 comp.

The party continued in the "Hohehaustenne", where everyone rattled their brains to the dudes on the wheels of steel, DJ Flip, DJ Dan (Texta) and the Wax Wreckaz (Zimtstern DJ Kollektiv). After a hard night of partying people met again at the mountain where we cured our hangovers with "kaiserwetter“ and enjoyed the rest of the weekend!
