"There wasn’t much snow left in Colorado by the end of the season, but we still wanted to make something happen, so one day on our way back from Keystone with Seth Hill we spotted this cornice into a dirt landing right next to the main road in Dillon. We stopped to check it out, I grabbed my camera and Seth started hiking to hit it right away. On the first try Seth ended up rag-dolling down the mountain as the dirt had a weird consistency, similar to packed sticky powder, and he went head over heels when he landed. But on the second go he popped a huge ollie and rode all the way down to the river, feeling like he had just done a sick powder line."
