The readers of "TransWorld SNOWboarding" have spoken---they've voted Travis Rice their favorite rider and awarded him the "Reader's Choice" Award. Travis was announced the winner at the seventh annual Riders' Poll Awards show, which took place in San Diego on September 8. TransWorld's Riders' Poll Awards is the only award show that honors the stars of professional snowboarding.

This is the first time Travis has won the award, although he was also nominated last year, the same year won both TransWorld's and Snowboarder's Rider of the Year awards. Travis is featured in DC's first snowboard video, "Mtn. Lab," and in Oakley's "The Community Project" videos, both on sale later this month.

DC riders locked up two of the three nominations for this year's TransWorld Reader's Choice award---Travis' DC teammate Eddie Wall was also nominated.
