Italian Madness is a short film about snowboarding. Chapter 2 takes them to the Italian Alpes, to Courmayeur in the Aosta Valley, shadowed by Mont Blanc. A 1567 km drive from Sicily to Cormayeur where they spent the next ten days filming for the second chapter. Definelly a different location compare to the Etna Volcano. The Alps are the biggest mountains we have in Italy and especially the “White Mountain” is the highest peak in Europe, with 4.808 above the sea level. Ethan Morgan, Simon Gruber and Marco Grigis followed by Marco Morandi and photographer Roby Bragotto spent a week around the Big Peak searching for the best powder condition to film backcountry. Weather changes so fast up in the mountain, but last year was definetly crazy. They got rain the first day, more than 1 metres of fresh pow by night, than bluebird and rain again, so they decide to get a guide to be safer and more productive up on the hill. The snow condition changed so fast and especially down in the valley was really dangerous due to avalanches and warm temperatures but they made it work and got some banger shots.
