Who needs another snowboard brand? Nobody, really. That’s what I thought when I first heard about Flower snowboards. I was wrong, though. Some of us could take advantage of the blossom. How many times have you heard someone say something like: snowboarding comes so much from skateboarding? Well, in some ways, it really does, with the whole jibbing and punky vibe sticking to its core values for starters, but that’s pretty much it. Twenty years ago, it might’ve been a bit like skating, but now? I don’t know any skater who will pay over 200 quid for his Sunday afternoon skate session, let alone spend more than that for his whole skateboarding kit, including shoes. Most of them will enjoy eating sidewalk fries with their dirty hands a million times before putting a 2000-meter-high overpriced dry sandwich in their mouth. Anyway, if a snowboarding brand wants to make a point of running away from that “elite” niche, that’s the one, and that’s cool. The vibe’s cool too.

What is Flower snowboards?
Flower Snowboards is a genetically enhanced snowboard company ingesting Miracle Grow this winter 2024.
Who is Flower snowboards?
Just two peas in a pod! We love collecting rocks and making cool footwear from discarded trash on the beach like everyone else. Currently accepting new crew appications now!
Is this a Pan-Atlantic project?
Yes! Our roots are from the beautiful Eastern Block of Europe and the East Coast of the US. The sun is always shining.
You mentioned you wanted to focus on inclusivity in the brand. What are you thinking of, and how do you wish to achieve that?
We just want the brand to feel a bit more open and fun. We'd even like some beginner shredeers to be in the videos and on the team, maybe getting some clips in the streets. I guess we're hoping to connect a bit with people who don't get to the mountain resorts much, people who prefer to just skateboard around the city and never really considered snowboarding. People who think snowboarding is too expensive or for rich people. So much of what we see in snowboarding is inaccessible to most people. But in the end, you dont really need any of it. You don't need a Vail season pass, a splitboard setup, multiple powder snowboards, or step-in bindings. You just need some snow (or ice) and a sled hill. Water and sunlight help as well.
You're only making one type of board. Why is that?
Years of snowboard evolution in one convenient shape
What is this board made for?
We offer a fun, low-price-point twin tip snowboard for anyone who just wants to go out and build a jump onto a picnic table.
This snowboard you're selling, do you see it more like a flower or a snowboard?
In the words of Gregor Mendel, "The value and utility of any experiment are determined by the fitness of the material to the purpose for wich it is used."
You guys also do bags, right? What’s up with that?
Yes! We have a lot of baggage, it seems...
Any filming or other projects?
We are now up on the Youz Tuze. Like and suscribe ;p
Our first short movie "Miracle Grow" is dropping this fall. We'll also be manifesting a bunch of fun content and even posting it on the internet in moments of lesser anxiety.
Any plans for the upcoming winter?
Oddly enough, winter is the time when we seem to blossom. Hoping to visit some of our family in Transylvania Romania, maybe we can get pulled behind the horse cart on the boards.
How can we get our hands on the stuff you make?
On the internet. www.flowersnowboards.com or @flowersnowboards.
