The project features Nate Bujarski, Jake McPherson, and Brett Stamper, who spent two years filming street spots in the Midwest, including locations in Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and some backcountry areas in Utah. Even though there wasn’t much snow in the Midwest during the last year of filming, their strong determination and "all gas, no brakes" attitude made the name Holeshot a perfect fit for the project.
