Watch the behind-the-scenes Eagle Pass edit of Method Movie 2 featuring David Carrier-Porcheron and Roland Morley-Brown.
Eagle Pass Heli is a place you dream of going, or should. We’re thrilled to have got David Carrier-Porcheron and Roland Morley-Brown up to this British Columbian gem, along with veteran photographer Chad Chomlack-Chomlack, for a week of powder madness.
The conditions mightn't have been perfect on this particular trip, but, unlike at most heli ops, that’s not really an issue here. The resilience and versatility of the operation make this place exceptional. At Eagle Pass, down days are almost entirely unheard of.
Chad explains a bit more:
Have you been to Eagle Pass before? What's your experience with the operation going into this trip?
I've been going to Eagle Pass for the last five winters and one thing that I absolutely love about it is we fly – no bullshit. If we can get up into our zones, we'll always be working, each and every time. The terrain's perfect for the riders we bring ‘cos it's gnarly and it's fun. The guides are consistently top-notch and always give a healthy green light when it's on!
Have you worked with DCP or RMB before? If so, in what capacity?
I've worked with DCP for the last five years or so, this was my first time working with RMB. It was super fun to see the natural chemistry between the two of them. RMB’s humility mixed with a charging attitude brought the stoke each day. DCP – well, that dude's hyped every day! It’s hard to keep up with the energy he puts into the world. One of the last legends standing, in my eyes.
