This is "OUT (Once Upon a TIME)". The film highlights Hugo Serra’s adventures from the familiar mountain peaks of Verbier, his hometown, to the mountains of St Anton in Austria, exploring those challenging terrain with his splitboard.
The movie celebrates the snow, this winter magic created by balance and harmony in nature. We keep waiting for it each year to enjoy the best the mountains have to offer, to Hugo that means snowboarding. With this short film, he wanted to put the spotlight on that magical time of the year, freeriding in fresh snow at full speed sending the snow flying at each turn.
With the help of the filmmaker Hugo Charpentier (HC-Films), this project started last January in perfect conditions for a month of shooting. The adventure-seeking athlete embarked on this new project while competing on the FWQ. Strong determination and commitment to his projects got the short film rewarded at the IF3 festival with the “best film of the year in the amateur category”award and Hugo also qualified for the Freeride World Tour.
The project is proudly supported by Quiksilver, Levitation shop, Stone, SPY and BCA.
